After a very interesting meeting with Pete Turner of the Environment Agency a load of different options have been put forward to improve the fishery. BUT, what do you lot want from it?
Andy Stonehouse and I have done our best, with help from the local police team, to create a safe environment free from illegal fishing.
We have made moves to get the overgrown banks and lilly infestation sorted which should bear fruit before April next year.
Next on the list is the fish.. What do you want in there? More Bream, Carp, Tench? Should we re-introduce Roach or Rudd? Pike even?

Any more fish would be a great bonus,but logically I think the best fish would be the species that will settle easier and more so breeds easiest ,I'm not sure which species this would be but perhaps other anglers may know .
ReplyDeletedefo think the introduction of carp would be great. some of a decent size like over 10 pounds to go with the exsisting stock. realy think we should net the golden acre lake to get the carp back. that would save alot of money!!
