Saturday 8th Oct. 10 o'clock Paul's Pond. Litter pick, general clean up .
Bring waders,gloves, bin bags. grappling hooks etc. Pint in the Fox at Bramhope afterwards for a chat about next year.

friday/tuesday/thursday

night fished friday got 2 tench out, one just after dusk one just after dawn. fished all day tuesday got nothing, not one bite in twelve hours. fished thursday from noon till dark got two tench out, must of seen 6 or 7 different carp basking in the lilly pads + a shoal of tiny perch also in the lilly pads.

Update

Steady Tench catches but otherwise quiet. Kids camping on Friday left a mess.
No illegal fishing though which is good news.
Fish survey is on the horizon so we can see what we've got in the pond, how it's growing, health checks etc then we can have an informed re-stock in 2012.

Spent a few hours here yesterday trying for the carp but blanked on them but did manage to catch a couple of tench on boillie around the 4-5lb mark.

two tench today, both in the first hour then nothing for five hours apart from three perch....

wednesday 31 aug

got two tench out today, this one been the best, lost three GRRRRR. also took shannon (step daughter (14)) on a day ticket, she caught 29 perch and one small bream, biggest was about 1 lb 8oz......
